Kumejima Firefly Association
The Kumejima Firefly Association aims to protect the Kumejima fireflies and the native creatures that connect to them, and to preserve a healthy ecosystem, including our humans.
We have a track record of successfully reviving the environment of the river where Kumejima fireflies have disappeared due to development, and from that activity content, let's protect the richness of "sea" and "land" which is one of the goals of the SDGs. " You can learn how it works.
Nature Study &
Earth oven pizza experience
You can "know" and "deepen your learning" while enjoying the bingo game about the actual ecosystem of Kume Island. For lunch, make pizza using an earth oven made by kneading red clay from the river with children ♪
It will be a concrete example of the SDGs that the Kumejima Firefly Museum is working on, and the experience itself will be a participation in the SDGs 14 and 15 items .

Firefly Hall Night Tour
Explore the firefly building and surrounding forests and rivers at night, relying solely on the light of the lights. After the Kumejima firefly in early spring, the Kuroiwa firefly and Okinawa Suji firefly in early summer, and the creatures that appear in each season teach us the fun and importance of nature.
